Sean obtained his J.D. from Thompson Rivers University in 2016. He joined the firm as an articling student in 2017 after working 8 months with a Calgary criminal defence firm. Sean arrives at Bryan and Company having already had personal trial experience and success, winning his first trial in Provincial Court in June of 2016.
While attending law school Sean was heavily involved with the Society of Law Students, and acted as president of the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law’s rugby team. He also competed in the British Columbia Law Schools Competitive Moot.
Sean also brings considerable business experience to the firm. Prior to attending law school, he owned and operated his own painting business, which at its peak, operated with revenues of $400,000.

Kirk joined Bryan and Company Calgary LLP from a national law firm and brings with him a practice focused on the following areas:
- Construction litigation, on behalf of owner, contractor(s), subcontractor(s), design professionals and project managers relating to claims including construction related claims, building/constructions/design deficiencies, property loss, Builders’ Liens and delay claims

- Corporate and Commercial Litigation including contractual, commercial, and shareholder disputes
Kirk has appeared as counsel before all levels of Court in Alberta and has experience in the representation of clients at mediations and other alternative dispute resolution hearings. Kirk strives to resolve issues for clients by providing timely, practical legal advice. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Calgary Bar Association, Construction Law—South Section CBA.
