Summer Students

Bryan & Company LLP is pleased to invite you to join our team.

In addition to our articling student program, Bryan & Company recruits first year law students each year for a 4-month term from May to August. The intent of our summer student program is to provide students with practical legal work experience in an informal program directed by mentors representing our major practice areas. Summer students have the opportunity to begin to develop practice management skills and to get a preview of their future articling experience.  Our summer students are a part of firm culture, taking part in social events and getting to know the team.

Summer students at Bryan & Company are given the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in all of our practice areas. Students are encouraged to observe and shadow our lawyers whenever possible, to give them first-hand experience with day-to-day life at our firm and the practice of law. We also endeavour to give them a wide range of assignments directed at expanding their knowledge and legal skills. As we do for our articling students, our goal is always to create an environment that allows our summer students to develop knowledge of the law and become well-rounded professionals.

Bryan & Company will participate in the annual February interviews for first year law students enrolled at Canadian law schools.  We will be accepting applications for summer students via the viLawPortal (or, if you cannot access the portal, bcrecruiters@bryanco.com).  Please view the viLawPortal and Law Society website for relevant dates.
