Representative Work

Deanna resolves civil disputes for her clients through litigation, mediation, and a number of other alternative dispute resolution forums as a member of our Advocacy Group. Deanna strives to provide prompt service and practical advice to her clients to reach creative and cost effective results. She has particular interest in the following areas:

  • Advising clients on strategic approaches for the prompt and economical resolution of disputes
  • Advising insurers on coverage issues
  • Insurance Litigation involving first party claims, coverage disputes, fraud claims, subrogation claims, property claims, CGL claims, and automobile claims
  • Product’s Liability and Manufacturer’s Liability Litigation involving design and fabrication deficiencies
  • Corporate Litigation including contractual, commercial, and shareholder disputes
  • Administrative Claims including challenging decisions of the Workers’ Compensation Board
  • Personal Injury Litigation arising out of industrial accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and occupier’s liability incidents

Profile

Deanna is experienced in both courtroom advocacy and alternative dispute resolution. She has appeared as counsel before all levels of Court in Alberta. She has represented clients in many forms of alternative dispute resolution, including judicial dispute resolutions, mediations, and settlement conferences. She has a particular interest in being a “problem solver” for her clients.
