Representative Work

Frances strives to ensure that her service is thoughtful, constructive and prompt. She has strong legal research and writing skills and draws upon her background in philosophy to approach problems analytically and creatively. She has had the opportunity to work on a number of interesting personal injury and commercial projects, through which she has provided exceptional legal service. Frances currently works in all areas of litigation with a particular interest in the following areas:

  • Personal injury work representing both plaintiffs and defendants;
  • Corporate and commercial litigation, with a focus on contractual disputes.
  • All aspects of medical malpractice work; and
  • Construction litigation.

Community Involvement & Volunteer Work</

  • Volunteered as a caseworker, Project Day Leader and Legal Education and Reform Project Coordinator for Student Legal Services (SLS) during the completion of her J.D.
  • Volunteered with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre (ECLC) to provide public presentations on Family Law topics during the completion of her J.D.
  • Volunteered in the law student-run charitable production, Law Show, in her first and third year of her J.D.
  • Involved in community athletics, particularly in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.
