Representative Work

  • Bank financing including the negotiation and execution of loan arrangements for both lenders and borrowers concerning real estate lending transactions, loan restructuring and mortgage enforcement
  • Commercial leasing for landlords and tenants concerning lease transactions involving office, industrial, retail and ground leases
  • Commercial real estate including purchasing, sales and commercial leasing
  • Development of commercial and residential land parcels including office buildings, major shopping centres, industrial properties, and residential developments
  • Negotiation and execution of agreements for joint ventures, partnerships or consortiums involved in real estate developments including the operation and governance of such entities
  • Advising clients in relation to various aspects of their business plans including the acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and residential real estate, such as office buildings, major shopping centres, industrial properties, and development lands, the structuring and financing of transactions, and negotiating, preparing and finalizing agreements with municipalities and others relating to various residential and commercial developments
  • Residential real estate

Profile

Graeme practices with the Business Law team. His practice focuses on helping his clients with all aspects of real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, and financing with particular emphasis on the development of industrial and residential condominium projects.

Graeme currently chairs the firm’s Real Property Group and has been designated by Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of Real Estate Law.
