Community Involvement & Volunteer Work

  • Participated in the University of Alberta Law Show productions of Harry Lawter, Ferris BuelLaw’s Day Off, and Alice in WonderLaw as a band member
  • Volunteered as a caseworker for Student Legal Services (SLS) criminal and civil law projects during completion of her J.D.
  • Completed a yearlong placement at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre as part of the Low Income and the Law Seminar during the final year of her J.D.
  • Member of the Panda Bearristers Rugby Team
  • Writer, News Editor, and Editor in Chief for the Faculty of Law student paper

Representative Work

Hailee grew up in a small rural community, and her background has informed her view of the legal profession as a primarily service based industry. Through her work with SLS and ECLC Hailee has come to further appreciate that the services a lawyer provides can go a long way towards protecting a client and their peace of mind, regardless of that client’s background. Knowing this Hailee looks forward to the challenges that her year articling at Bryan & Company will present and is excited to learn more about the practice of law as she strives to provide practical, efficient and personalized services for the wide range of issues her clients face.
