Kellen strives to resolve business and corporate related issues for his clients in a prompt and pragmatic fashion that draws experience from a number of Business Law Groups within the firm. He has a particular interest in the following areas:

  • Advising on most operational aspects of business enterprises, including employment matters, contract matters and leasing matters
  • Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reorganization of business ventures
  • Incorporations, joint ventures, partnerships and franchises
  • Business organization governance planning and structuring including shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, limited partnership agreements and joint venture agreements
  • Negotiating business transactions
  • Negotiation and execution of contracts including loan arrangements
  • Commercial Leasing for landlords and tenants concerning lease transactions involving office, industrial, retail and ground leases
  • Business enterprise succession planning
