Deanna serves as counsel at Bryan & Company, bringing extensive experience in civil litigation. She excels in courtroom advocacy and is adept in various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including judicial dispute resolutions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences. Her practice is particularly focused on professional liability, representing architects, engineers, and other professionals in a diverse array of construction and contractual claims.
With a comprehensive background in civil litigation, Deanna has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and has handled cases across numerous administrative tribunals. Her experience includes work with the Land and Property Rights Tribunal, the Association of Professional Engineers, and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC), the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB).
Beyond her professional achievements, Deanna is committed to community involvement. She volunteers as a mentor and advisor with Student Legal Services at the University of Alberta, helping guide and support the next generation of legal professionals. Additionally, as the mother of two children who are actively involved in youth sports, Deanna balances her professional and personal life with family activities and supporting her children’s athletic pursuits.
