Gen Gerardo, CPA

At Bryan & Company, Gen leads the accounting and finance functions providing leadership to the accounting team and working closely with management on financial decision making for the firm. Gen is passionate about upholding Bryan & Company’s culture and values.

Prior to joining Bryan & Company, Gen worked across the public sector with the Office of the Auditor General, Alberta Investment Management Corporation and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Gen worked on different engagements across various Ministries. Notably, Gen was involved in the implementation of Alberta Health Services’ Connect Care System – a centralized province-wide clinical information system, improving accessibility of health information across all healthcare providers. More recently with NAIT, Gen provided financial insight to the Senior Leadership Team to help increase industry partnerships to support the demand for skilled trades, healthcare workers, and applied sciences education in the province.

As an active volunteer in our community, Gen has prepared personal tax returns through the Accounting Club at NAIT, volunteered for the Heart & Stroke Foundation Walk a Mile In Her Shoes and participated in Edmonton Corporate Challenge.

Gen loves travelling to new places and trying different activities – most recently Gen has found a passion for freediving.
