Bridging Academia and Practice

Bridging Academia and Practice

February 28, 2025

At Bryan & Company, we take great pride in fostering the next generation of legal professionals. Our longstanding relationship with the University of Alberta Faculty of Law allows us to contribute to the academic community while ensuring that students receive valuable insights from practicing lawyers.

Several members of our firm are actively involved in legal education, teaching courses such as Corporate Securities and Professionalism and Ethics. By sharing their firsthand knowledge and practical experience, our lawyers help bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world legal practice. This engagement ensures that law students gain a well-rounded understanding of the profession, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their careers.

Our commitment to legal education extends beyond the classroom. Through mentorship, guest lectures, and involvement in student initiatives, we strive to support and inspire the next generation of lawyers. We believe that by investing in future legal professionals, we contribute not only to the success of individual students but also to the broader legal community as a whole.

We are honored to maintain this strong connection with the University of Alberta and look forward to continuing our efforts in shaping the future of the legal profession.
