
Ben Horcica
Ben is a partner at Bryan & Company and practises corporate law with an emphasis on securities and mergers and acquisitions involving both public and private companies.
Particular focus areas include:
- Corporate and commercial strategic planning, organization of corporations, joint ventures, partnerships, limited partnerships, professional corporations and not-for-profit organizations
- Business organization governance planning and structuring including shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, limited partnership agreements and joint venture agreements
- Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reorganization of business ventures
- Developing strategies for clients concerning the purchase or sale of a business
- Providing assistance to business organizations to solve operational problems including difficulties relating to the dealings with banks and financial institutions
- Business enterprise succession planning
- Advising clients on securities regulatory requirements for public offerings and private placements
- Consulting on stock exchange compliance including listing requirements and offerings of debt or equity
- Advising on financing arrangements including equity and debt
Ben currently sits on the firm’s Professional Development committee and is also actively involved in various charitable organizations in the community, including:
