Brennan J. Shepherd

Brennan is an Associate with Bryan & Company. He currently works in all areas of practice but has a particular interest in civil litigation, employment law, and corporate commercial work. Brennan is eager to expand his skills under the mentorship of Bryan & Company’s team of seasoned lawyers.

Brennan graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law with Distinction in 2024. During his legal studies, Brennan was a member of the Alberta Law Review, served as a faculty Research Assistant, and worked as a Student Researcher with the Alberta Law Reform Institute. Before law school, Brennan obtained his Bachelor of Management degree with High Distinction from Concordia University of Edmonton, which solidified his interest in the corporate world.

Before embarking on his legal career, Brennan worked for an environmental non-profit organization, in a lumber mill, and as a lifeguard. Raised in rural Alberta, Brennan’s client approach emphasizes personable communication, and he is dedicated to delivering practical, cost-effective, and timely solutions to his clients.

Outside of work, Brennan enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. On his time off, you can find him skiing at Marmot Basin, cheering for the Edmonton Oilers, and exploring Edmonton’s River Valley with his partner and their dog, Leo.
