He also carries a large employment law practice, where he advises employers and employees on all matters stemming from the employment relationship, including termination and wrongful dismissal claims, human rights and enforcement standards complaints, workplace investigations, and the enforcement of restrictive covenants.

Daniel carries a large general commercial litigation practice that includes acting for clients in relation to shareholder disputes, commercial lease disputes, debt collections, construction related multi-party large loss past events; and a vast array of first party commercial insurance coverage disputes, and insurance denials. He also has experience handling estate litigation matters.

Daniel has represented his clients at all levels of court in Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench in Saskatchewan, as well as the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal in British Columbia. He has also represented clients before various tribunals and commissions, including the employment standards and the Alberta Human Rights Commission.

In addition to his practice, Daniel has presented papers and lectured on a number of litigation and employment topics to a variety of audiences, including as a guest lecturer at the University of Alberta Human Resources program, and for various CBA and LESA seminars.
