Dustin is an articling student with Bryan & Company. Prior to starting with the firm, Dustin completed a clerkship at the Alberta Court of Appeal under Acting Chief Justice Pentelechuk. He is excited to continue to explore new areas of law and expand his knowledge in both corporate commercial and civil litigation.
Dustin graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2025, receiving the Judges’ Bronze Medal for placing third in his graduating class. During his time in the Faculty of Law, Dustin was a Research Assistant for former Dean Barbara Billingsley, a Writing Fellow, and the President of the OUTlaw student organization. He participated in two national competitive moots, the Gale Cup and the Canadian Client Consultation Competition, placing third in both. Dustin received multiple awards throughout his degree, including the Chief Justice Fraser Scholarship, the Chomicki Baril Mah LLP Prize in Civil Procedure, and the Odishaw Family Prize in Aboriginal Law. Prior to law school, Dustin had a 10 year career at the University of Alberta in student services and employer relations.
Outside of work, Dustin enjoys bouldering, biking, reading, playing board and video games, and spending time with his husband, friends, and cats.
