Jordan T. Mertz

Jordan is a partner at Bryan & Company and the head of the Firm’s Health and Regulated Professionals practice group, where he leads a practice focused on business structuring, commercial leasing, and purchase and sale transactions for health professionals, primarily in the dental industry. In addition, Jordan is a registered trademark agent with the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents.

Jordan has extensive transaction experience in all manner of practice sales and acquisitions, covering virtually all medical professions.  He continues to act for several privately held commercial real estate developers and landlords, advising on both development projects and commercial leasing matters.

Jordan frequently partners with the University of Alberta and members of the dental industry to host events and seminars providing practical legal education and advice to dental and hygiene professionals. He was recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in Canada^TM for Corporate Law in the 2025 publication.

Jordan sits on both the Firm’s Business Development Committee and Technology and Information Committee.
