Kent is a partner with Bryan & Company where he advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, from multi-million dollar transactions to assisting start-ups and new ventures with their organization and governance. Kent brings a business-oriented lens to his practice, allowing him to provide practical, prompt, and effective solutions to various legal issues.
Along with advising on corporate governance planning and implementation, including shareholder, partnership, limited partnership, and joint venture agreements, Kent is experienced at navigating mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations. He also advises on the operational aspects of business enterprises, including employment issues leasing, and other contractual matters. Finally, Kent’s commitment to assisting his clients with succession planning means he advises on the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, personal directives, and other estate planning matters.
Kent is actively involved in the community. He has sat on the board of directors at a local golf course, served as an instructor for the Legal Education Society of Alberta Interviewing & Advising CPLED sessions, acted as a guest lecturer at the University of Alberta School of Business, and as a guest legal advisor at Business Link.
