Robert J. Bruggeman

Robert (Rob) maintains a practice focusing on corporate finance. He advises clients on business and corporate-related issues using a multifaceted approach that draws from his broad knowledge in these areas.

Rob has extensive experience acting for both public and private issuers, as well as private equity groups in a variety of different industries. He offers practical advice to his clients, providing creating and innovative solutions to issues they may be facing. His areas of focus include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations of business ventures both globally and within Canada, including platform and ‘tuck-in’ transactions. Rob also regularly assists his clients with securities and stock exchange compliance, advising on private placements, bought deals, and marketed offerings.

Rob is consistently recognized for his achievements in The Best Lawyers in Canada^TM, including being named as the Lawyer of the Year for Securities Law in the 2025 publication.
