Marcus is an Associate with Bryan & Company. He currently maintains a broad practice which primarily includes corporate matters and commercial litigation. During his time at Bryan & Company, Marcus has had the opportunity to advise on a variety of legal matters including international merger and acquisition transactions, as well as complex, multi-party construction disputes. Marcus has also advised on various securities law matters ranging from exempt capital market offerings to public company compliance. Whether in a corporate or litigation setting, Marcus believes it is critical to invest time understanding the intricacies of each client’s business/industry in order to provide practical and effective legal advice.

Marcus completed his Juris Doctor degree in 2022 at the University of Saskatchewan after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from MacEwan University. During his studies, he remained active in the community through work in the hospitality industry and coaching youth sports. Marcus also had the opportunity to travel to Kenya and volunteer with Kanyawegi Support for Orphans and Widows.

Marcus has always led a busy and active lifestyle, participating in various sports and activities. He values the team focused experience he gained while competing in golf, hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball. Marcus took part in Law Games and was his law school’s coordinator for the Dale Masson Memorial Hockey Tournament during law school. He continues to be active in the golf community as a member at Sturgeon Valley Golf & Country Club and participant in Alberta Golf events.
