Richard is an Articling Student with Bryan & Company. He currently works in all areas of practice but has a particular interest in corporate commercial work and startups.

Richard graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law with Distinction in 2023. Before entering law school, Richard was involved in the Edmonton startup scene, running a technology company and serving on the Edmonton Advisory Council for Startups. His entrepreneurial endeavors have provided him with unique insight into his client’s needs, allowing him to provide a custom-tailored approach to each. This approach proved effective as Richard served as a case worker in the University of Alberta Faculty of Law’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where he volunteered during his last year of law school. Richard continues to seek out new and innovative legal solutions to provide his clients with practical, cost-effective, and timely service.

Outside of work, Richard can be found spending time with his family, playing pickleball, going for runs, hiking, or just taking advantage of any warm weather.
