Our articling students participate in an informal rotation ensuring exposure to the firm’s major areas of practice as well as continuing legal education. We provide coaching, mentoring and support in all areas of law in which we practice and ensure that our articling students have the flexibility to ultimately select an area of practice of their choosing.
Instead of spending the articling experience conducting research and drafting memos while being sheltered from clients, our articling students can expect a more varied and client-focused experience interacting directly with clients, lawyers, drafting documents, making court appearances and taking conduct of files from day one. We believe this approach fosters rapid learning, not only of the practice of law, but of how a law firm operates as a business and how to best serve clients. Our goal is to create an environment which allows our articling students to develop knowledge of the law and become well-rounded professionals.
Bryan & Company will once again be inviting second year law students to apply for 2021-2022 articling student positions with the firm. Interested candidates can submit their application packages to Ken Haluschak at firstname.lastname@example.org by May 15, 2020. Please include a cover letter, your resume, and your undergraduate and law school academic transcripts in your application packages. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer an interview to every applicant. Successful applicants will hear from us by Friday, May 22, 2020.
