Bryan & Company LLP welcomes Kent McSporran and Chaylene Gallagher, who became partners in January 2021. The firm appreciates their contributions during an unusual, but exciting first year of partnership.

Kent McSporran practises business law in a wide range of corporate matters. He is well-versed in the implementation of corporate reorganizations and navigation of purchase and sale transactions of various sizes across a variety of industries.

Kent is actively involved in the community, having served as an instructor for the Legal Education Society of Alberta Interviewing & Advising CPLED sessions, a guest lecturer at the University of Alberta School of Business and a guest legal advisor at Business Link. He is always keen to get to know his clients and other members of the bar, especially over a round of golf.

Chaylene Gallagher practises law in labour and employment, wills and estates, shareholder disputes, administrative law and commercial litigation. She has appeared in multiple levels of court and provincial and federal tribunals. She offers a full-service practice, where she is an active part of her client’s team, resolving current issues and helping prevent future ones.

She serves on the Canadian Bar Association Labour & Employment executive committee and is on the board of directors of ABC Head Start Society. She also regularly volunteers with Student Legal Services at the University of Alberta. Chaylene dedicates her time to other charitable initiatives, particularly if it involves running a race or golfing.

Bryan & Company LLP also welcome Erin Oor and Cole Sloan to the partnership effective January 1, 2022.

Erin Oor practises general corporate and commercial law and has extensive experience in a wide range of corporate matters, including 17 years in private practice with Bryan & Company LLP and 15 years as general counsel for public companies.

Erin has been an instructor for the Bar Admission Course at the Law Society of Alberta, served on the board of directors of ABC Head Start Society, and acted as executive chair of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League and was a member of the board of directors of the Alberta Lacrosse Association.

Cole Sloan practises corporate and business law; commercial real estate; commercial transactions and corporate finance. He continues to build his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities and technology, and intellectual property. Cole works with his clients to generate solutions that are tailored to their specific needs.

Please join us in congratulating Kent McSporran, Chaylene Gallagher, Erin Oor and Cole Sloan in their roles as partners with the firm.
