
Hailee F. Barber
Hailee is an associate with Bryan & Company LLP, called to the Alberta bar in 2018 after completing her articles with the firm. After practicing broadly in civil litigation during her first several years, Hailee is now focused on developing a family law practice at Bryan & Company LLP.
Hailee’s areas of practice include the preparation of relationship agreements (prenuptial, cohabitation, postnuptial, and adult interdependent partner agreements), separation agreements (for both married and unmarried couples), divorce, parenting/custody, child and spousal support, matrimonial property division, wills and estates and general litigation.
Hailee offers a multifaceted, flexible approach to litigation and dispute resolution, regardless of whether the matter proceeds through the court system, settlement or is addressed via alternative dispute resolution. Hailee is focused on helping clients navigate life’s often stressful transitions by serving as a trusted advisor, practical problem solver and zealous advocate.
Hailee is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association. Hailee has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and, in 2019, completed the Legal Education Society of Alberta’s Intensive Advocacy Program.
Hailee is an active member of the CBA Family Law, Wills and Estates, Civil Litigation and Women Lawyers Forum sections, and is a long-time volunteer with Edmonton Community Legal Centre, providing legal information and advice to low-income members of the community.
Since 2018, Hailee has been actively involved with Student Legal Services at the University of Alberta, serving as an advising lawyer for student volunteers in the Civil Law section who provide legal assistance to low-income individuals.
